A faster way to copy text from images
Screenshots are everywhere: chat messages, error dialogs, lecture slides, scanned notes, receipts, social posts. The problem is that text inside an image cannot be selected, searched or edited. Mers Snap2Text uses optical character recognition (OCR) to read the pixels and turn them back into real text you can paste anywhere.
Private by design
Recognition runs inside your browser. Your screenshots are not uploaded to our servers, so sensitive images stay on your device.

Tips for the most accurate results
OCR accuracy depends mostly on image quality. Crop the screenshot so only the text area is visible, use a high-resolution capture, and avoid images with strong shadows or tilted text. Pick the correct language before extracting — selecting Urdu for an Urdu screenshot improves accuracy dramatically. Dark-mode screenshots with light text generally work well, but very low-contrast or decorative fonts may need a quick manual edit afterwards.
